Coast Guard Eagle Weathervane - Full-Bodied Like building a model ship out of a box, full-bodied Weathervanes are similar except that there are no ready-made pieces available, and no schematic to guide us through assembly. Each piece is individually hand-cut, and assembled using a studio-made diagram, and pictures as a guide. Hence, the process may take over 200 hours of studio time and include over 100 individual pieces of material to create the weathervane and are usually one-of-a-kind. Coast Guard Eagle weathervane is fabricated from heavy-gauge copper, with brass masts, gilded Eagle at bow, gilded letters and accents.
